We hope you had a great holiday yesterday celebrating the 4th of July with your friends and family! CFG will be running classes as usual through the rest of the week and weekend. There are no changes to our schedule.
As a reminder - we are having high school training sessions at CFG on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays at 1pm and 2pm. If you are high school aged and interested in training during the day, stop on by! There is a $5 drop in fee for all workouts.
The CFG kids/teens program runs on two 4 lift skill/strength cycles. We focus on the following movements in order to give the maximum benefit to our athletes while training at CFG. Cycle #1: Front Squat, Pull ups, Deadlifts and Shoulder Press and Cycle #2: Overhead/Back Squats, Pull Ups, Hang Power Cleans and Push Press. These lifts are seen in the skill portion of the class for kids and the strength portion of the class for teens. Then, the WOD is a compliment to the lift for that day. With that format we are able to provide well-rounded and effective training for each CFG kid/teen athlete! If you have more questions about our format feel free to contact a coach!
