CrossFit Generation is pleased to announce the hosting of a CPR certification course for the American Heart Association Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED. The course will be provided by the "CPR Heart Starters" run by CFG's own Jim Shields along with one of my former Hatboro Horsham Football coaches and friend, Dave Sanderson. The course is offered to anyone who is interested in getting CPR certified whether they belong to CFG or not.
Here are the details:
When: Saturday, March 2nd at 12:00pm
Class is approximately 4 hours
Cost: $45/person (other places in area are $55 and you have to travel to their location). Please make checks payable to "CPR Heart Starters".
Certifcation: American Heart Association Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED
Location: CFG main room
Registration Form: CPR Heart Starters Registration Form
DAILY TRAINING
Strength
KB Farmer's Carry
5 x 40yds
*Rest as needed to ensure 40yds is completed without setting the bells down
WOD
100 burpee relay trading off reps of 10 with a teammate
Core
3 x 30 second Side Planks each side

I highly recommend everyone get CPR/AED certified. I have to keep current certifications for work, but I know others who just want to know what to do in the event that something happens to their family member. By taking one course, you just might safe a life.
