I know how stoked you all are that the CFG track season is upon us. I am just waiting for school to let out on June 18th, then we will take it to the track 1x per week. I am looking forward to it. I am already concocting a burner for our first one :)
Workout of the Day
30 Handstand Pushups (sub pike if needed)
40 Pullups
50 Swings
60 Situps (unanchored)
70 Burpees
We did this wod on 4/13/10. This time around, you will do it in the reverse order you completed in last time. If you started with Handstand Pushups, you will start with burpees and vice-versa.
4/30/10 wod results

Missed this last time around.....

I remember this one...the morning class consisted of 5 women. Loved it!
Mary...since I can't be there today, maybe you can do it twice - once for me and once for you. What do you say?

Actually, Mary, can you do it 3 times? I hate work and I hate school because I'm missing crossfit way too much! It's making me a little unhappy!!!!

Mary, could you possibly go back tonight and do this for me, too! I have a sick child at home today and am not sure if I can make it to CFG!!!

And where's the video from yesterday I gotta show my mommy!

Doing the burpees last was awful! Maybe we could divide my time by 3 and say I did it 3X??
Bern, I don't want to do this again for a long time--I don't think I'll have recovered enough in 7 hr to do you justice!

Mary, since you are going to do this one again for others, why don't you throw in a round for me? :)
I can't make it tonight, since I have a 4:30 meeting. I'll make sure to do a "workout for the road" at home tonight!

Track workouts! Will they be on the same day each week, or will it be a surprise?
Posted by: parker | Friday, June 11, 2010 at 10:10 AM
This workout is a slogger. Tough to get through those burpees either first or last :)
Track workouts will be known a few days in advance. No, they will not be on the same days each week. Unknown and unknowable, Ryan...

Sure Barb, I'll do one for you too-----what's another 70 burpees ;-)

Mary, you have ALOT of work to do...

The only thing I love more than track (cardio) is to make the cardio unknown and unknowable!!! I think I'm going to start calling more things "sloggers"

I like to call the track WODS "track meets". The bleacher runs are fun too. Looking forward to the 'opening ceremonies'.

Just for the record.... I did close the gap on Fred (reference the Pic posted)

Edmund, for all we know, Fred just lapped you and you "closed the gap" after you both crossed the finish line.
